The Smith Cameron Group (SCG) is pleased to announce that it has acquired Westcan Industries and its sister company, Indu-Tech effective March 1, 2019.
Founded in 1964, Westcan is known through-out the industry as “The Pump People”, delivering high quality rebuild, repair and parts manufacturing as well as engineering and technical service of industrial and municipal pumps for the Pulp & Paper, Mining, Water & Waste Water industries in Western Canada.
Established in 1988, Indu-Tech provides specialty instrument isolation valve technology worldwide. Indu-Tech manufactures a unique valve that solves an operational frustration in industrial, Water & Waste Water plant operations by providing convenient and simple, non-clog level sensor maintenance and in-situ calibration. Indu-Tech valves reduce maintenance cost and improves level transmitter uptime in a critical component of many industry processes.
