Integrated Paving Concepts sells its thermoplastic business to Flint Trading Inc. and the StreetBond business to Quest Construction Products.
Integrated Paving Concepts sold its thermoplastic business to Flint Trading Inc. in May 2011 and the StreetBond business to Quest Construction Products in June 2011. IPC is excited about both transactions, which will allow these businesses to continue to grow and prosper under new ownership. As a larger company with a national sales force, Flint intends to accelerate the awareness of these products with specifiers including government, Consulting Engineers, Architects, Landscape Architects and Planners. This activity, together with the electronic marketing and demonstration programs conducted by IPC in the past, should generate more business activity for all of IPC’s partners. Flint’s newly established TrafficScapes® sales team will be responsible for driving the growth and support of its preformed thermoplastic products business. For Quest Construction Products, the acquisition of IPC’s coatings technology adds to their product and market offerings and furthers their objective to provide the building owner multiple solutions with his/her building envelope. Their lines now include solutions from waterproofing roofs to creating aesthetic surfaces for parking lots, walkways or residential driveways. IPC will continue to manufacture the equipment and tools used in the StreetPrint process as well as provide training for end users of this equipment.
